At DB Engineering Studio, we believe that exceptional spaces deserve exceptional art.

Founded in Sweden in 2023, DB Engineering Studio began as a construction consultancy, managing and delivering projects in collaboration with municipalities, contractors, and public organizations. With experience in schools, healthcare facilities, and complex building projects, we understand how thoughtful design contributes to creating meaningful environments.

Building on this foundation, the company has expanded into Art Advisory, helping developers, architects, and interior designers integrate carefully curated artwork into residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Our founder, Daniel Bäcklin, is a construction engineer, artist, and photographer with a passion for architecture and the visual arts. His background provides a unique understanding of both project execution and artistic vision, allowing us to bridge the gap between construction and creative expression.

Leading our Art Advisory division is Aya Abd, an artist and art advisor with extensive international experience. Having lived in Dubai for nine years, Aya has developed valuable insight into the region's culture, design, and luxury real estate market. She has worked with RAK Expo Center, managed workshops in journalism and art, and is actively engaged in the contemporary art scene in Sweden while also studying at Gävle Art School.

Together, we combine technical expertise, international perspective, and a passion for contemporary art to create curated collections that enhance spaces, strengthen brand identity, and deliver lasting value for our clients.
